Description
"ZuAfrique began in Africa's Web3 community. In April 2025, AyaHQ brought 60+ people to Kilifi, Kenya, for a 21-day residency, with funding from AyaHQ and Lisk. It was our launchpad, and it showed us that the most valuable thing we created was the human layer underneath the technology.
ZuAfrique 2.0 returned to Kilifi under one theme: Allow Yourself To Feel. It brought together 40 residents and 20 non-residents from nine countries, and made human connection, trust and collaboration the focus of the work.
We are establishing ZuAfrique Foundation as a charity in England & Wales, so we can take the model further, welcome donors and funders worldwide, and stop relying on a single organisation to fund the work."
